Garrett Wilson More Likely To Return In 2025
2 days agoESPN New York's Rich Cimini writes that quarterback Aaron Rodgers' eventual departure greatly increases the chances of wide receiver Garrett Wilson returning to the New York Jets. Their was tension between Rodgers and Wilson last year, which started in training camp and came to a head late in the regular season, leading to speculation that Wilson could request a trade. In 11 games with both Wilson and Davante Adams on the team, Adams was targeted 112 times (third-most in the league, while Wilson saw just 87 targets. The 24-year-old Wilson is coming off his third straight 1,000-yard receiving campaign and should be the Jets' unquestioned No. 1 pass-catcher next year after they move on from Adams. Although Wilson should have a much safer target floor in 2025 with Adams out of the picture, his fantasy value will depend a lot on who the Jets tab as their next QB.
