Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell went 1-4 with a grand slam in Friday's 11-5 spring win against the Kansas City Royals. It was Wilson's first homer this spring. The 25-year-old has performed well this spring, slashing .319/.385/.811 in 47 AB. Wilson missed much of last year with a shoulder injury and may struggle to find a starting spot in Milwaukee's crowded outfield. ATC currently projects 415 PA for Wilson with a .240/.312/.376 slash line and 15 stolen bases. With MLB Pipeline's No. 2 prospect Jackson Chourio making the Brewers' Opening Day roster, Mitchell may be the odd man out in the Brewers's outfield and is at risk of limited playing time even if healthy, making him mainly a stash in deep-league formats. --Kevin Larson - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell (oblique) has been removed early during Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. It's unclear how Mitchell suffered the injury, but he was taken out in the fourth inning due to oblique tightness. This is sometimes a tricky injury, so it wouldn't be shocking to see Mitchell land on the injured list. The assumption is the Brewers will do further testing to determine the significance of the injury. For now, fantasy managers should consider Mitchell as day-to-day until more information is revealed.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell went 0-for-2 with a walk before being lifted for a pinch hitter on Thursday afternoon in Colorado. Mitchell left Coors Field still looking for his first long ball of the season after going 2-for-8 for the series with his first stolen base of the season. The 26-year-old lefty is hitting .258 (8-for-31) with two doubles, four walks, a .065 ISO, and a .317 wOBA. He has been platooning with Isaac Collins, which has limited his chances, but he has a 45.5% hard-hit rate and .341 xwOBA, which indicates some positive regression could be around the corner for him as the Brewers continue their road trip with a stop in Arizona to face the Diamondbacks this weekend.--Zach Thompson - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the hosting Washington Nationals and left-hander DJ Herz. The 25-year-old doubled and drove in a pair of runs on Friday but will take a seat and give way to Blake Perkins in center field on Saturday. Mitchell has been plagued by injuries during his young career but has been rather productive when healthy as a career .280 hitter with six homers, 11 stolen bases, and a .347 wOBA across 209 trips to the plate. There does seem to be some combination of pop and speed with Mitchell that fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on but he remains off the fantasy radar for redraft managers down the stretch.--Brenton Kemp

The Milwaukee Brewers reinstated outfielder Garrett Mitchell (finger) from the 60-day injured list on Monday and optioned infielder Tyler Black to Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move. The Brewers also designated infielder Owen Miller for assignment. It remains to be seen if Mitchell will be in the team's starting lineup on Monday for the series opener at Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies, but whenever he gets into a game, it will be his season debut after missing the first three months of 2024 with a fractured finger. There's a crowded outfield already in Milwaukee, so fantasy managers can't expect the former first-rounder to see regular playing time among Christian Yelich, Blake Perkins, Sal Frelick and Jackson Chourio. In 12 minor-league rehab games for Nashville, Mitchell looked good, hitting .318 with four home runs and four steals.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
