3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Garrett Hampson is absent from the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Sam Hilliard is manning center field for the game while Raimel Tapia is leading off. Hampson has been the team's primary leadoff hitter lately and he's been producing some decent results. Over 16 games this month, he's slashing .264/.328/.509 with 12 runs scored. He ranks in the 99th percentile in sprint speed and he's stolen 17 bases over 24 attempts on the year. With his lack of power (.369 xSLG), he'll need to run more often and more efficiently in order to become a more attractive fantasy option.
