Garrett Cooper Exits Wednesday's Game Early
4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder/first baseman Garrett Cooper (foot) was forced to exit Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Cooper fouled a ball off his foot but was able to finish the at-bat, grounding out. He seemed to hobble off the field after the groundout, though, and was then replaced in the lineup by Lewis Brinson. X-rays were reportedly negative, so Cooper is officially day-to-day with soreness in his left foot. He'll hopefully only be out for a couple of games, if that.
