Garrett Cooper Exits Saturday's Game Early
3 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Garrett Cooper (leg) exited Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers after fouling a pitch off himself in the bottom of the sixth inning. He went 1-for-4 with an RBI and two strikeouts before leaving. The severity of Cooper's injury is unknown, and he is day-to-day. The 31-year-old was replaced by Erik Gonzalez, with Miguel Rojas shifting over to play first base. Cooper is hitting .264 with two home runs and 12 RBI over 106 at-bats this season. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation. Stay tuned.
