Garrett Cooper Avoids Major Injury
3 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Garrett Cooper (wrist) was forced to exit early during Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants. Cooper was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the fourth inning. Luckily, the X-rays came back negative, so Cooper isn't expected to miss significant time. The organization is listing him as day-to-day due to a left wrist contusion. Fantasy managers can be hopeful to get Cooper back within the next few days.
