Philadelphia Flyers right wing Garnet Hathaway (undisclosed) underwent several tests after exiting Thursday's contest early. All of his results came back negative, and it appears that the 33-year-old has avoided a significant injury. Hathaway exited Thursday's contest after taking a hard hit. Before exiting, he logged just over five minutes of ice time with four hits. Over his previous nine contests, Hathaway has tallied two points (both goals) with +2 rating, six penalty minutes, and 34 hits. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status but the team has not given a definitive timetable for his potential return. For the time being, Nicolas Deslauriers will likely draw into the starting lineup and play on the fourth line. Through 10 games this season, Deslauriers has tallied just one point with 18 hits.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
