Gardner Minshew Plays Well In Week 13
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew, starting in place of the injured Jalen Hurts (ankle), played well in a Week 13 win over the New York Jets. Minshew was hyper efficient, completing 20 of his 25 passes for 242 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. He added four rushes for 11 yards on the ground. Minshew got the gift of playing against the Jets defense in his first start of the season and did well, leading the Eagles to a 33-18 win. Hurts was able to practice on a limited basis earlier in the week, and with the Eagles heading into their bye week, that should be enough time for Hurts to be back under center for the next Eagles game in Week 15.
