12 months agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew put together a decent fantasy performance in the team's 27-20 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12. Minshew completed 24 of his 41 attempts for 251 yards and an interception, but the main catalyst behind his fantasy points came from his two-yard rushing touchdown. Minshew has only run the ball an average of two times in his nine starts this season, so it's not something fantasy managers will be able to bank on moving forward. In addition, he also has not thrown for a touchdown in his last two starts. He now faces a fairly weak Tennessee secondary, but the Titans have still made for an average matchup against fantasy quarterbacks allowing the 16th most points to the position. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues needing a spot-starter given bye weeks can look to start Minshew as a low-ceiling QB1.
