Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) practiced on Sunday but will remain sidelined for Monday's Game 2 against the St. Louis Blues. The 25-year-old practiced in a non-contact jersey on Sunday for the first time since sustaining an upper-body injury on March 23. The injury dashed Vilardi's hopes of reaching 70 points for the season, yet he still had a career year with 27 goals and 61 points in 71 appearances. Alex Iafallo will continue to skate on the top line until Vilardi returns. He has done a fantastic job filling in for him and opened the postseason with a goal in Saturday's 5-3 victory.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's contest against the St. Louis Blues. He was a full participant in Saturday's practice and is closing in on his return. An upper-body injury has kept Vilardi sidelined for 14 games. Before the injury took him out of the lineup, Vilardi was flying, registering a career-high 61 points (27 goals, 34 assists) in 71 appearances with 130 shots on goal. Vilardi's return will likely end Alex Iafallo's stint on the top line. During the regular season, Vilardi had two goals on three shots in three meetings with the Blues.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) will not play in Game 3 against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday. Vilardi traveled with the team to St. Louis but will be sidelined for a 14th consecutive game. The 25-year-old has been skating in a non-contact jersey this week, a sign that Vilardi is making progress. However, it remains unclear when he will be ready to jump back into the lineup. Winnipeg also remains without Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) on Thursday, increasing the fantasy value of Alex Iafallo and Nino Niederreiter.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) might be ready to make his 2025 postseason debut in Thursday's Game 3 against the St. Louis Blues. "Maybe. Maybe see what that color the jersey is tomorrow. Full practice tomorrow," Jets head coach Scott Arniel said after Tuesday's optional practice, regarding whether the forward could be an option for Game 3. Vilardi has been skating in a yellow non-contact jersey and is considered day-to-day. The Jets have taken a 2-0 lead in the first-round series but would receive a significant boost with Vilardi's addition, as he was one of the team's top scorers during the regular season, tallying 61 points (27 goals, 34 assists) in 71 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) will not be available for Saturday's Game 1 against the St. Louis Blues. The 25-year-old sat out the final 11 regular-season games with an upper-body injury and still needs more time to recover. Vilardi was Winnipeg's third-highest goal-scorer during the regular season, finding the back of the net 27 times in 71 games and adding 34 assists. The Jets are also without Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) for the start of the playoffs, which adds fantasy value to Alex Iafallo and Nino Niederreiter.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
