Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi exploded for a career night on Wednesday, racking up four points in a 5-2 win over the Kings. The 24-year-old was back in L.A. for the first time since the Kings traded him in the summer. Vilardi had a spectacular revenge game against his former team by posting one goal and three assists. He entered the action with only three points through his first nine appearances for Winnipeg. After sustaining a knee injury at the start of the season in another battle against the Kings, Vilardi has struggled to perform at his best, but Wednesday could be a sign of things to come, as the 24-year-old has replaced Kyle Connor (knee) on the top line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
