Jamison Crowder Meets With The Commanders
1 year agoFree-agent wide receiver Jamison Crowder met with the Washington Commanders on Tuesday, according to beat writer Nicki Jhabvala. Crowder was originally drafted by Washington in 2015 (fourth round) and put together some solid seasons in D.C. before moving on to the Jets. Curtis Samuel is the Commanders' starting slot receiver, so even if the team were to sign Crowder, it would just be for depth purposes. The veteran wideout has compiled 4,667 yards on 415 catches to go along with 28 receiving touchdowns over his eight-year career. Most recently, he was released by the Giants last week, and before that, he appeared in just four games with the Bills last season.
