Frederik Andersen Tries To Protect Perfect Record Versus Boston
3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen will put his perfect 5-0-0 record on the line in Thursday's battle with the Bruins. The Danish netminder struggled with consistency in Toronto, but he's been rock-solid in his first few outings for Carolina, giving up more than two goals just once. His overall goals-against average stands at 1.60, and he's recorded a .946 save percentage. Andersen catches the Bruins at the tail end of a back-to-back set, which should help him in his attempt to maintain a perfect record. Boston will roll with Jeremy Swayman, who's 1-1-0 for the season with a 3.02 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage.
