Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen lasted just 31 minutes in the 2018 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series game against the Washington Capitals. Toronto backup goalie Curtis McElhinney then replaced Andersen, keeping the Caps off of the board for the remainder of the game. Andersen allowed five goals on 25 shots in the loss, looking nothing like the strong starter he has been this season for the Leafs. Don’t sound the alarm just yet, as the Danish goaltender has had a solid year and hopefully just had a bad night. The 28-year-old now sports a 32-16-5 record this season with five shutouts, a .922 save percentage and 2.67 goals-against average. Andersen and the Leafs will look to bounce back Monday against Buffalo, who have scored two goals or less in six of their last eight games.--Alex McKenzie
