Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen will start on Monday night against the Buffalo Sabres. Toronto took a tough loss on Saturday night against the Washington Capitals in a game that saw Andersen surrender five goals and get pulled in the second period. The Danish 28-year-old has been the defensive backbone of the Maple Leafs this season, earning 32 of Toronto’s 39 wins and posting a 2.74 goals-against average with a .920 save percentage. Buffalo currently sits last in the Atlantic Division and lost on Friday to the Florida Panthers 4-1. Look for Andersen and the Leafs to post a strong performance this evening as they expect to get back on track and make their playoff push.--Alex McKenzie
