Frederik Andersen Keeps His Perfect Record Against Arizona
3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen bagged another win on Sunday, stopping 22 of 23 shots in a 2-1 triumph over the Coyotes. The former Maple Leaf improved to 7-0-0 for the season and now has a 1.33 goals-against average with a .956 save percentage and one shutout. Andersen will be hunting down a league record in November. The record for most consecutive wins by a goaltender at the start of his career with a particular team stands at nine. Antti Raanta has earned just one start through eight games, so Andersen might be able to celebrate the record very soon if he keeps up his form. The next three opponents for Carolina are Chicago, Florida and Tampa Bay.
