Frederik Andersen Won't Play On Monday
4 years agoToronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen was set to make his 17th start of the season on Monday but picked up a lower-body injury and won't suit up. Instead, Michael Hutchinson gets a chance to record his second start of the year. He had 34 saves in a 7-3 win in his season debut on Feb. 19 against Ottawa. It will be a battle of the backups in Toronto, as the Flames are going with David Rittich after Jacob Markstrom suffered an upper-body injury, which has him listed day-to-day.
