Freddy Peralta In Search Of Consistency On Tuesday
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Freddy Peralta is in search of some consistency as he lines up to take on the visiting Baltimore Orioles Tuesday night. While Peralta has tossed a pair of quality starts over his last three outings, he has posted a 6.86 ERA over his last four while surrendering a minimum of three earned runs each start in that span. There's no hiding how well Peralta has pitched this season as his ERA and its indicators all agree on his work. The 27-year-old owns a 4.62 ERA while his 4.76 FIP and 4.40 SIERA both agree with that figure. He's had some issues with the long ball by way of a 1.49 HR/9 while his strikeout rate has dipped to 23% versus a 30.2% clip for his career. He'll take on an Orioles offense that is tied for 15th with a .315 wOBA versus right-handed pitching on the season.
