Freddie Freeman's Wrist Not Broken
7 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman's left wrist is not broken after he was hit by a pitch Wednesday, as test results came back negative on Thursday and he is listed as day-to-day. Phew. That noise you hear is the collective sound of the Braves and all of Freeman's fantasy owners letting out a sigh of relief. It was the same wrist that Freeman fractured 11 months ago that sent him to the disabled list for seven weeks. He could sit out for a day or two, but he should be good to go. The talented first baseman is batting .288 with six doubles, two homers, 12 RBI, 18 walks and a .468 on-base percentage in 17 games.
