Freddie Freeman's Spring Struggles Continue
4 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman continues to struggle this spring. Freeman has just three hits in 29 plate appearances- and no home runs- though he does have a nice 7-6 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 11 games. However, fantasy managers should not worry about the 31-year-old, as his track record speaks for itself. Over his last seven full seasons, Freeman has averaged 149 games played, 91 runs scored, 26 home runs, 88 RBI, 77 walks, and a .297 batting average. He's a durable, four-category producer slated to bat in the heart of the order for a strong Braves' lineup. Don't hesitate to take him at the end of the first or start of the second round.
