Freddie Freeman Slugs 25th Homer On Sunday
3 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman went 2-for-5 with a home run, one RBI and a run scored in a 6-5 win over the Nationals on Sunday. It was his 25th homer of the year, as he's now slashing .290/.389/.494 with seven steals, 65 RBI and 85 runs scored over 117 games this season. He's been on a tear over the past month, as he's slashing .339/.416/.514 with six homers, three steals, 15 RBI and 28 runs scored over his last 30 games. He'll look to keep things rolling on Monday in the series opener with the Marlins.
