Freddie Freeman Reaches Twice, Drives In A Run In Blowout Win
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman went 1-for-2 with an RBI, a run scored, and a walk in a 9-0 shutout win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday. The Dodgers were all over Aaron Nola in this one, jumping on him for six earned runs. Freeman did his part with an RBI single to score Mookie Betts in the top of the third inning. He later walked and came around to score on a J.D. Martinez home run in the top of the seventh. The 33-year-old veteran is now slashing a ridiculous .226/.411/.575 to go along with 12 home runs, 43 RBI, and eight stolen bases over 259 at-bats.
