Freddie Freeman Has Upper Arm Contusion
6 years agoUpdating a previous report, Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has been diagnosed with an upper arm contusion after being hit by a pitch in Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees. He left the game in the top of the third inning. This is good news so far for the slugging first baseman, who has had bad luck with getting hit by pitches in the past. Freeman has slumped a bit lately but has enjoyed a great 2018 season with 16 homers and a .930 OPS. He can be considered day-to-day for now.
