Freddie Freeman Goes Hitless Over Four At-Bats Wednesday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman had a rough game at the plate in the team's 4-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. He went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. It was his first three-strikeout game of the year and only the eighth time this season he'd struck out multiple times in a game. Freeman is off to a slow start to the month of June. Over his first seven games of the month, he's slashed just .161/.161/.194 with only one extra-base hit (a double). Expect to see the 32-year-old slugger come back around soon. Over 56 games on the year, he's slashing .283/.367/.438 with four home runs, five stolen bases, 30 RBI and 35 runs.
