Fred VanVleet Unlikely To Play Monday
3 years agoToronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet (knee) is unlikely to play in Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. According to Raptors reporter Michael Grange, Raptors coach Nick Nurse stated that VanVleet's right knee soreness has increased. Nurse said, "He's more sore than he was." VanVleet has been dealing with the knee soreness since before the All-Star break. He played through it in each of the team's last two games, but it sounds as if he'll be getting a breather on Monday. We'll likely see Malachi Flynn enter the starting lineup. Flynn has had a rough year, but he's worth considering as a dart throw in DFS.
