2 years agoToronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet (illness) is questionable ahead of Saturday's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. The 28-year-old didn't play on Wednesday versus Brooklyn due to a non-COVID-related illness, and neither did Dalano Banton (ankle). As a result, Malachi Flynn got the start but finished with only eight points on a rough 3-for-12 shooting effort. With Pascal Siakam (adductor) and Scottie Barnes (knee) already ruled out, VanVleet will be a primary offensive contributor if he plays. However, if he doesn't, Banton, who is questionable, or Flynn should handle the point guard duties.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
