2 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Frankie Montas (shoulder) is officially set to return to the rotation during this weekend's series against the Houston Astros. He will either pitch on Saturday or Sunday. Montas has been dealing with right shoulder inflammation, but he has managed to avoid a stint on the injured list. He threw a 25-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday and clearly hasn't shown any repercussions from the session. The 29-year-old has maintained a stellar 3.26 ERA and 1.09 WHIP over 17 starts this year.
