Frank Vatrano Continuing To Add Value
6 years agoFlorida Panthers forward Frank Vatrano carried his recent scoring surge into Tuesday's win versus the Buffalo Sabres and picked up another two assists in the contest. The 24-year-old continues to take advantage of receiving prime minutes on the Panthers' top line with Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau and has now collected 17 points (10 goals, seven assists) in his past 20 games. It's been a breakout season for Vatrano as he recently eclipsed the 20-goal mark for the very first time in his career and given his contribution in other categories this season (146 shots, 86 hits), he's evolved into a useful asset in most fantasy formats. Given his triple-position eligibility and his relatively low ownership (30% in Yahoo! leagues), there might be no better time than now to add Vatrano for the late-season playoff push.
