Frank Gore Expected To Miss Rest Of Season
6 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Frank Gore (foot) is expected to miss the rest of the season after undergoing more tests on his sprained foot, according to a source. The ageless 35-year-old surprisingly saw more touches than Kenyan Drake this year and finishes with 156 carries for 722 yards (4.6 yards per carry), but he found the end zone just once (on a catch). Drake wasn't even the lead back after Gore's injury on Sunday, as rookie Kalen Ballage led the team in rushing and looked good. Don't be surprised if Ballage and Brandon Bolden see more run in the final two games of the year over Drake, who has continued to battle a nagging shoulder injury down the stretch. Ballage will be one of the more popular waiver additions this week. It's fair to wonder if this will be Gore's final season in the NFL.
