Francisco Lindor Progressing, But Remains Without Timetable
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (oblique) has been progressing in his rehabilitation lately. He has been sidelined since mid-July with a Grade 2 oblique strain. He has been taking ground balls and also hitting off of a tee. He is expected to start hitting off the machine at some point this week. He still remains without a timetable for his return. Lindor got off to a slow start to the year, but he started to come around in June and he was rolling in July before the injury. Over 12 games in July, he slashed .333/.489/.500 with two home runs, two stolen bases, 10 RBI and nine runs. He also had 10 walks to only seven strikeouts over that stretch. Fantasy managers will have to continue to remain patient for the Mets star's return.
