Francisco Lindor Hits Fifth Home Run
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor continued his recent hot streak with another 2-for-4 performance on Saturday in the Mets 4-0 win over the Padres. Lindor hit a solo home run (his fifth HR of the season), doubled, and scored two runs in the contest. Lindor has now safely hit in eight straight games. Over his last seven games, he has slashed .406/.424/.750 with two HR, four RBI, and 10 runs scored. At the risk of jinxing it, it finally appears Lindor has put his poor start to the season in the rearview mirror. Fantasy managers who remained patient with Lindor are finally being rewarded with the production they expected out of the 27-year old All-Star. He should remain active in all formats as one of the league's top fantasy shortstops.
