Francisco Lindor Hits 16th Homer Tuesday
4 months agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor had a solid game at the plate in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Nationals. Lindor went 3-for-4 with two singles, a two-run home run, three RBI, and a walk. The 30-year-old lined a sixth-inning Jake Irvin fastball into the right-field bullpen for his 16th long ball of the season. Lindor has pretty much provided what fantasy managers have come to expect, slashing .253/.321/.455 with 61 runs scored, 48 RBI, and 16 stolen bases in 408 plate appearances. The Mets have picked things up as the first half of the season comes to a close, which should boost Lindor's fantasy value.
