6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli will play first base Saturday against the St. Louis Cardinals. He will bat fifth in the lineup, just in front of catcher Elias Diaz. Cervelli has played seven major league games at first base, but has stated repeatedly that he would rather be a catcher. Cervelli is 7-for-19 with five RBI and a homer since returning from the disabled list with concussion symptoms.--Aaron
