6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli (head) has been cleared to participate in workouts. He was placed on the seven-day concussion list on Saturday, June 25. Elias Diaz has done a great job filling in for Cervelli, but we imagine the minute he can return, Cervelli will take the majority of the starts behind the plate. Cervelli is slashing .257/.390/.486 with nine homers and 36 RBI. He strikes out a league-average 20 percent of the time.--Aaron
