2 years agoNew York Mets catcher Francisco Alvarez is absent from the lineup on Saturday against the Washington Nationals. The 21-year-old backstop will take a seat against Nats starter Trevor Williams while Michael Perez will take over behind the dish. Alvarez is slashing .231/.275/.415 with three home runs and six RBI over his first 65 at-bats on the year.
