Foster Moreau Attracting Attention From Saints And Other Teams
2 years agoFormer Raiders tight end Foster Moreau has reportedly received an offer from the New Orleans Saints and is drawing attention from other teams, even after having been diagnosed with cancer. Moreau's Hodgkin's lymphoma was discovered during a physical conducted by the Saints during the free agency period. Moreau said that he was going to be stepping away from football to "kick [cancer's] ass." The 26-year-old is optimistic that he could be able to return to the football field after undergoing chemotherapy.Still it's unclear when Moreau would be ready to play again. An article by the USA Today's John Sigler suggested he could be put on a team's non-football injury list and be able to play halfway through this season. Moreau is coming off his best season in terms of receptions and yards. Regardless of whether he is able to return in 2023, the optimistic news means he maintains long-term value in dynasty leagues.
