Filip Hronek Has Three-Point Night Against Carolina
4 years agoDetroit Red Wings defenseman Filip Hronek matched a career high with three points in Tuesday's 4-2 victory over Carolina, scoring an empty-netter and delivering two power-play assists. Adam Erne notched the goals with the man advantage. Hronek has great offensive instincts, and he's been racking up points like there's no tomorrow as of late, averaging two points per game in his last four outings. The Czech blueliner is up to 18 points for the year in 30 games. He's not been overly productive throughout the campaign, and he will hurt you in the plus/minus column, but Hronek should be picked up right now whilst he's hot.
