Filip Hronek Continues Quietly Productive Season
4 years agoDetroit Red Wings defenseman Filip Hronek recorded a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Panthers, extending his point streak to three games. He and Dylan Larkin set up Filip Zadina for his fourth goal of the season. Hronek has really kicked into gear this month and is now averaging a career-high 0.57 points per game. Eight of his 21 points have come via power-play assists. He skated a massive 26:30 on Tuesday and is averaging 23:32 on the ice for the season. Hronek will hurt fantasy teams with his plus/minus, but he does everything on the ice and should be on fantasy managers' radar with Detroit playing much better as of late. They have three more games still to come this week.
