5 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (flu) did not play in Sunday's victory over the San Francisco Giants. The 21-year old had started every other Cactus League game, going 1-for-10 with five strikeouts in three games played. Missing time will set back Tatis' already slow Spring Training, as he continues to work his way back from a stress reaction in his lower back that cost him the final months of his rookie campaign. Tatis Jr. will no doubt be ready to return for Opening Day, where he will be one of the most valuable five-tool fantasy players available at a shallow position.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
