Fernando Tatis Jr. Diagnosed With Shoulder Subluxation
3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) was diagnosed with left shoulder subluxation after he exited Friday's loss to the Rockies. The 22-year-old left during the first inning of Friday's game after re-aggravating a shoulder injury which caused him to spend 10 days on the injured list earlier in the season. "It's another subluxation for Tatis," said manager Jayce Tingler. The Padres manager compared Tatis' injury to the same injury he sustained in April. Tatis is considered day-to-day and will undergo additional tests on Saturday to determine the severity of the injury. Tatis has been excellent in 2021, slashing .288/.371/.646 with 31 homers, 70 RBI, 79 runs scored, and 23 stolen bases over 88 games in 2021. Stay tuned.
