Felix Stevens Performing Well In Double-A Debut
4 months agoChicago Cubs outfield prospect Felix Stevens made his Double-A debut on June 25 and has performed quite well in his first taste of the upper levels of the minor leagues. Through his first 11 games, the 24-year-old has posted a stellar .350/.386/.725 line with two home runs, nine RBI, and a 3:19 BB:K ratio. In 50 games at High-A South Bend earlier this season, Stevens held a lower .249/.365/.503 line with 13 long balls, 38 RBI, and a 28:79 BB:K ratio. This is a great sign to see the young outfielder show higher power potential against tougher competition. Stevens currently sits outside the top 30 of a deep Cubs system on MLB Pipeline but could join this list if he continues this strong run at Double-A.
