Felix Bautista Converts Second Consecutive Save Tuesday
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles relief pitcher Felix Bautista earned his sixth save of the season and his second in the last two games in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays. Bautista entered to close things out with a one-run lead. He got the first out on a flyout, allowed a single, got the second out on a strikeout, and ended the game by getting Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to line out. Bautista has a nasty pitch arsenal and has done very well for the O's this season, compiling a 1.69 ERA with a 12.00 K/9 rate. He appears to be worth a roster spot in all leagues at this time with Jorge Lopez leaving the bullpen at the trade deadline.
