Falcons Look Poised To Trade Up In Draft
5 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons look poised to make some noise with a trade up in this month's draft. They have spent plenty of time evaluating and talking to players that figure to be gone by pick No. 16 i n the first round, and other teams think Atlanta will be on the move from the 16th pick. General manager Thomas Dimitroff sent a huge package of picks, including a future first-rounder, in order to trade up for wide receiver Julio Jones in 2011. The Falcons are unlikely to trade up for a wideout this year, but cornerback C.J. Henderson or an edge rusher would make plenty of sense.
