5 years agoAtlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank said that the team is "very, very close" to a deal with wide receiver Julio Jones. "I’d be surprised and disappointed if we didn’t get it done this week. ... I think it’s very reasonable to assume it will get done this week," Blank said. The 30-year-old wideout has five straight seasons of 1,000-plus yards receiving and has reached that mark in six of his eight NFL seasons overall.
