5 years agoThe negotiations seem to be picking up between the Atlanta Falcons and their star wide receiver Julio Jones. The team's general manager Thomas Dimitroff has appeared confident that a deal will be done in the "near future," saying that the team “continues to be very close” to a deal. With about a week to go before the regular season, it's of course frustrating that Jones is still sidelined with the contract yet to be sorted out, but you shouldn't allow him to drop too far in fantasy drafts. He should easily be one of the first receivers off the board as he has had five straight completely dominant seasons in a row and figures to pick up right where he left off when he does re-join the team.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
