2 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons defense struggled in the 20-17 Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The Falcons failed to take advantage of a Los Angeles offense missing their two star wide receivers and one of their top tight ends. They had zero sacks in the game but did come away with two turnovers. Atlanta surrendered 20 points to the Chargers and 245 passing yards to Justin Herbert. Next week the Falcons face the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night. While the Carolina offense was awful against the Cincinnati Bengals, they scored 34 points against the Falcons in Week 8. Fantasy players should avoid starting the Falcons defense.--Mike Fanelli
