5 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons and wide receiver Julio Jones continue to discuss a contract extension as the 2019 regular season approaches. Experts have projected that Jones' deal will be a three-year deal worth $51.8 million, with $33 million guaranteed. He currently has two years left on his deal and is scheduled to make $9.6 million this year and $11.4 million in 2020. His age (30) will be a factor, but Jones is the consummate professional and has five straight seasons of 1,000 yards despite battling nagging injuries along the way. He's had over 1,000 yards receiving in six of his eight NFL seasons and remains an elite fantasy wideout despite the fact that he's now 30. He should remain one of the first wideouts off the board and is RotoBaller's No. 2 receiver behind DeAndre Hopkins.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
