3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has a difficult matchup to open up the season, but should still be a solid fantasy option for Week 1 lineups. "Zeke" and the Cowboys face off against the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Bucs, who had the second best defense against opposing running backs last season. Many fantasy managers were down on Elliott this season after his performance last year, but he was a top-tier fantasy option for as long as Dak Prescott was under center. With Prescott back and expected to play without limitations already in Week 1, Elliott's ceiling and floor are both much higher not only for this Thursday night contest, but for the whole season. He checks in somewhere in the overall RB10-12 range for this week, but he's as safe a bet for RB1 weeks as anyone else.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
