6 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott might not amaze in Week 1, but he should put up solid enough numbers when Dallas travels to Carolina to face the Panthers. Elliott will certainly receive enough carries to put up some points, but his usage in the passing game remains to be seen. The Carolina defense did well last season in limiting opposing running backs, giving up the third fewest fantasy points to the position. In a game where the Cowboys come in as underdogs, Elliott may see his usage diminish as the game goes along. Still, he is ranked as an RB1 and must be started in all formats, owners should just be ready to temper expectations a bit given the situation.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
