Ezekiel Elliott Runs 22 Times In Week 5 Win
2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott once again led the Cowboys backfield in touches but was easily outplayed by his backfield mate Tony Pollard. Elliott ran the ball 22 times and gained 78 scoreless yards. Meanwhile, Pollard out-gained him on just eight touches and also scored a touchdown. Pollard is clearly the better running back, but Elliott will likely continue to lead this backfield in touches. Once Dak Prescott (thumb) returns, Elliott may find a little more room to run.
